For our various clients, we are looking for, for long-term temporary assignments, with the possibility of permanent employment for several:
Carpenter and Carpenter's Assistant
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in the trade.
- In good physical condition
- Versatile and autonomous
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- French spoken, read, written
- Driving licence and vehicle
- Work on new build/renovation sites
- Mark reference points on wood and cut various components (framework, joisting, window frames, etc.)
- Shape wood pieces: sawing, mortising, planing, notching, drilling, etc.
- Treat, impregnate and varnish wood to protect it against pests, moisture and weather conditions
- Assemble, fit and adjust framework and building structure elements according to the established plan
- Install wall and ceiling coverings, stairs, balconies, window connections, insulation panels, timber framing, etc.
- Apply protective coatings, install thermal and acoustic insulation
- Sanitise and maintain framework and wooden parts during renovation work
