A 50% Communications Officer
As the executive body of the Municipality, the Chancellery proposes and coordinates measures to promote and enhance the City, notably by providing the Municipality with decision-making support on strategic, legal, and institutional communication matters, ensuring coordination and interdepartmental follow-up of items submitted to the Municipality, and managing institutional processes. In this context, the communications department is seeking:
A 50% Communications Officer
Your main missions and responsibilities:
- Design and produce video content for social media (filming, editing, short formats) and create visuals adapted to the City’s various digital channels.
- Support and advise City departments in implementing their communications.
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and digital content.
- Draft speeches and official statements for members of the Municipality.
- Manage press relations and media monitoring.
- Contribute to the daily activities of the department:
- projects, events, internal requests.
- Coordinate external service providers
- (photographers, graphic designers, videographers).
Your profile:
- Higher education in communication and/or marketing or equivalent qualification
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in video creation for social media (filming, editing) and mastery of Adobe suite and video editing tools (Premiere Pro or equivalent)
- Strong writing skills and understanding of institutional codes
- Excellent written and spoken French
- Service-oriented, team spirit, and ability to work cross-functionally
- Organised, proactive, and flexible with working hours
