Cutting Tool Methods Technician

We are looking for a Cutting Tool Methods Technician for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, an expert in the management of cutting tools related to metal chip removal.MISSION DESCRIPTION- Define, select, and provide the cutting tool solutions necessary for new products as well as new production resources.- Develop and maintain a preferred relationship with suppliers in order to identify the best solutions and guarantee the performance of cutting tools.- Ensure the creation and maintenance of know-how by updating technical data, repositories, drawings, and tooling standards.- Identify opportunities and lead actions aimed at increasing the productivity, quality, and reliability of machining processes.- Be the technical reference for cutting tools for internal teams (methods, production) as well as external partners.- Support production teams by providing technical support and contributing to the resolution of problems related to cutting tools.- Ensure active technological monitoring of market developments by participating in trade fairs, conducting tests, and feasibility studies in order to integrate the best technical solutions.PROFILE- You hold a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a polymechanic, or an equivalent diploma.- You have solid experience in machining and master technologies related to cutting tools, with particular expertise in the machining of stainless steels and precious metals.- You are comfortable with CAD/CAM software, ideally master cutting speeds, and have a basic understanding of programming.- You enjoy teamwork and like to be close to the field to support the teams.- Recognized for your rigor and method, you have good analytical skills and know how to propose concrete and effective solutions.- Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you communicate with ease with various interlocutors and promote cross-functional exchanges.- Curious and adaptable, you evolve with ease in varied technical environments, in connection with the methods and production teams.FIXED POSITION at 100% jid448fcf0aen jit0728aen jpiy26aen
