Nurse or ASSC 80-100% in the North Vaud and Broye region on a fixed-term contract for 6 months
Your mission as a nurse
- Care, advice and follow-up of patients undergoing respiratory treatment
- Psychosocial advice to patients and their relatives
- Collaboration with doctors, hospitals, CMS and EMS
- Maintaining electronic records, reporting to doctors
Your mission as an ASSC
Under the direct supervision of the referring caregiver:
- Care, advice and follow-up of patients treated for sleep apnoea syndrome (CPAP), patients on servo-ventilation and patients with an inhalation device at the LPV premises or at patients’ homes
- Identifying needs and providing psychosocial advice to patients and their relatives
- Managing stock of equipment, maintenance of devices and accessories
- Participating in telephone reception and appointment management
- Maintaining electronic records, reporting to doctors
Your profile
- Recognised diploma as a tertiary-level HES or ES nurse or recognised ASSC diploma
- Comfortable communicating with patients, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of the Vaud socio-health network: an asset
- Skills in psychosocial counselling adapted to the clientele
- Experience in home care
- Good knowledge of cardio-respiratory care
- Aptitude for technical care
- Proficiency with computer tools
- Team spirit
- Ability to work independently, organisational skills
- Preferably residing in the canton of Vaud
- Driving licence and car essential

- Work over 5 weekdays between 8:00 and 17:00 (Monday to Friday), regular hours (no night or weekend work). Limited on-call duty, 1 to 2 times per year, without travel

- Ongoing training as well as structured support for the development of the expected specialised skills
