Manufacturing Technician - 2X8 - Temporary
AliveDx is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our production team based in Eysins, Switzerland. This is a full-time 2x8 shift position with a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026.
YOUR MISSION:
Under the responsibility of the Manufacturing Team Leader, you will be responsible for executing daily manufacturing activities in ISO 8/7 controlled environments. This includes bioproduction operations and automated processes, while adhering to safety standards and cGMP guidelines. You will be required to perform formulation and filling of biological materials, prepare production components, as well as manage the assembly and packaging of MosaiQ consumables.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Prepare biological probe formulations (pipetting, buffer preparation, centrifugation) and store them in bottles
- Set up and operate semi-automated production equipment
- Work in ISO 8 cleanroom environments
- Monitor production flows and ensure material supply
- Make entries in the ERP system and ensure batch record traceability
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and dress code protocols
- Perform in-process controls (IPC) and ensure equipment cleanliness
- Report non-conformities and participate in corrective/preventive actions
- Contribute to the training of new operators
YOUR SKILLS
- Degree in pharmaceutical industry, industrial biotechnology, or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Proven experience in a controlled production environment (Medical Device/Pharma)
- Proficiency with automated production equipment
- Good knowledge of cGMP standards
- Experience in ISO 8 cleanroom and biological probe formulation or downstream processing (DSP) highly appreciated
- Ability to identify and explain technical issues and propose improvements
- Competence in using computer systems and ERP tools
- Team spirit, punctuality, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
- Fluency in French; English is an asset.
