What you can contribute
- Establish the budget for the Patrouille des Glaciers, launch calls for tenders and contribute to the corresponding reporting tasks
- Perform the PISA control for the headquarters and plan the engagement of militia personnel
- Lead projects, develop contracts, directives, regulations and prescriptions, and conduct related negotiations
- Update the Patrouille des Glaciers website and intranet, perform demanding translation work
- Respond to requests from members of the Patrouille des Glaciers (4500-5000 members from more than 35 countries)
- Manage the affairs of the Patrouille des Glaciers command according to its directives
What makes you unique
- Commercial employee CFC, advanced professional training with several years of experience or equivalent training
- Ideally, officer or non-commissioned officer rank with experience in military personnel administrative management
- In-depth knowledge in the financial field
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, military personnel management and controls within the army as well as PISA and MIL Office
- Very good knowledge of a second official language, both spoken and written, and proficiency in English
In a few words
In this versatile position, you assume responsibilities, coordinate, plan and support, as a specialist, the organisation of the Patrouille des Glaciers which takes place every two years, and ensure its follow-up. Acting as a pivot in the areas of finance, project management and militia personnel planning, you contribute to the smooth functioning of a well-established team. Your commitment to security and freedom
The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes, among others, the Air Forces, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Centre, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. About 40% of the approximately 2500 collaborators are employed in civilian roles, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 collaborators in four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
