The Vaud Hospitals (Network Engineer)The Vaud Hospitals (FHVi) is the preferred partner of 12 hospitals and regional health institutions in the canton of Vaud. The FHVi supports them in the numerous challenges of digital transformation in the healthcare sector and its main missions are to plan, design, implement, and operate the information system for its members. There are more than 130 employees serving the organization for a fleet of more than 10,000 workstations spread across around a hundred geographical sites and three cantons (VD, VS, FR).Network EngineerBe part of the FHVi adventure!Are you passionate about network infrastructures and wish to put your expertise at the service of a critical environment where availability, performance, and security are essential to the continuity of care?Do you enjoy designing, evolving, and securing complex network architectures, taking on technical challenges, and contributing to the digital transformation of a multi-site organization?The FHVi is looking for a Network Engineer to support the development of its infrastructures and guarantee the performance, resilience, and security of networks serving health institutions.Your mission:Within the Network team of the Infrastructure department, you will contribute to the design, evolution, and support of the LAN, WAN, and security networks of the FHVi and its partner institutions, spread over around a hundred sites. You will participate in strengthening security, integrating and connecting equipment to the network, filtering, monitoring, as well as implementing technologies ensuring high network availability.Main activities and responsibilities:- Processing service requests from our institutions and business managers (ticket management, network administration, and security tools)- Incident management on the FHVi network and those of our partners- Configuration of the network for new medical and technical solutions (PCs, servers, IoT equipment, mobility, etc.)- In charge of monitoring, you will ensure the performance and availability of the network- Participation in network evolution projects (wired and Wifi LAN), WAN, deployment of new network and security standards on sites- Management of network security (filtering, NAC, VPN)- Participation in the on-call serviceRequired profile & qualifications:- Higher education in IT (Bachelor or Master), or a title deemed equivalent- Minimum experience of 5-10 years as a network engineer or in a similar function, ideally in a complex and critical environmentTechnical skills:- Good knowledge of routing and switching on Cisco equipment- Good knowledge of Fortinet Firewall technologies or equivalent (clusters, zoning, L4/L7 filtering)- A CCNA certification (minimum) is strongly desired- Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi solutions or equivalent is a plus- Knowledge of NAC is a plus (Cisco ISE)- Knowledge of Ivanti Connect Secure- Knowledge of Efficient IP (DHCP, DNS)- Knowledge of scripting, automation tools, and configuration management is a plus- Familiar with Microsoft, Linux technologies, and open source toolsPersonal qualities:- Customer-oriented and service-minded (listening, availability, respect, responsiveness)- Team spirit and collaborative work, positive attitude and rigor, structured, methodical, and reactive mindset- Respects and enforces FHVi operating procedures- Good oral and written communication skillsLanguages:- French: Mastery of spoken and written, reliable draftingWhat we offer:- A stimulating opportunity to evolve in the health sector, a constantly evolving and meaningful field.- The possibility to actively contribute to ambitious projects related to the digital transformation currently underway.- A pleasant working environment within a human-sized organization, where team spirit and proximity are valued.- Employment conditions with regular salary progression adapted to responsibilities, in accordance with the personnel regulations in force at the FHVi, including:- A 13th month salary- Competitive social benefits- 25 days of vacation per year (30 days from the year of turning 50).- Access to continuous training to support your development- Possibility of teleworking- Easy access by public transport. jide478e04aen jit0730aen jpiy26aen
