Gas Trader
Our client, a leading player in the commodities space, is seeking a Gas Trader to join our client's team in Lugano on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in European gas markets to take on a key revenue-generating role, leveraging both physical and/or derivatives trading expertise within a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for trading gas within the European markets, managing risk and positions, and contributing directly to our client's commercial strategy. You will work closely with other experienced traders and stakeholders to identify and execute profitable trading opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Gas Trading - Proven experience trading gas products, with a strong understanding of European gas markets, pricing, and fundamentals.
- Commodities - Background in commodities markets, enabling you to assess cross-commodity dynamics and market drivers.
- Trading - Strong track record in trading (physical and/or derivatives), including position management, risk control, and P&L accountability.
Location
The role is based in Lugano, Switzerland, offering the chance to work in an established European trading hub within our client's high-performing team.
