Key Responsibilities
- Act as a reliable deputy to the HR Manager and independently manage HR operations in their absence
- Responsible for the complete employee onboarding and offboarding process
- Ensure full compliance with Swiss legal, labour, social security and employment requirements
- Manage and maintain accurate personnel files, HR records and employee databases
- Responsible for tax, AHV, pension fund and other relevant employee registrations
- Handle work and residence permit applications, renewals and deregistrations for international employees
- Responsible for Einzugs- und Auszugsanzeigen and ensuring all notifications are submitted correctly and on time
- Manage the employee clearance and exit process, including coordination with relevant internal departments
- Ensure HR data is accurate, complete and up to date in all relevant systems
- Act as a competent contact person for employees, department heads and management regarding HR-related matters
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on LGAV, employment contracts, working hours, holidays, absences and other employment-related topics
- Make HR decisions independently and take over the operational responsibility of the HR department in the absence of the HR Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources within the Swiss hotel industry
- Strong and proven knowledge of Swiss Labour Law and LGAV (Landes-Gesamtarbeitsvertrag des Gastgewerbes); ability to independently interpret and apply relevant regulation
- Fluent German (written and spoken); good English skills
- Knowledge of Mirus is a strong advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently under pressure
- High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!' work attitude
- Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
- Positive, proactive outlook, hardworking and outgoing personality - and a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
- Swiss work permit holder or EU ID / Passport holder
