Yokogawa Automation Specialist - Expert 1 - All Genders

In this OT Automation role, you will support, design and commission automated systems at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality Assurance to drive reliability and performance. You will tackle technical investigations, lead improvement projects and participate in an on-call rotation after training. This position offers hands-on optimization of critical manufacturing systems within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, design, development and commissioning of automated systems for the site
• Support Production and conduct technical investigations to resolve issues
• Deliver challenging projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality Assurance across departments
• Work in an organized, flexible manner with a varied daily workload
• Participate in an on-call service after training to ensure system reliability

• University degree in Automation Engineering, Process Engineering or related field
• At least five years of experience in industrial automation
• Proven experience with DCS, especially Yokogawa CENTUM VP and Emerson DeltaV
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, and fieldbus technologies (Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Profinet)
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation, actuators and VSDs
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet TCP/IP communication
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Siemens S7, AVEVA System Platform Galaxy and AVEVA Batch is an asset; pharma/chemical industry experience is highly desirable
