Overview
As a Principal/Senior Principal Accounting Solution Consultant, you will shape and deliver robust accounting solutions on SimCorp One for investment and fund accounting. You act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, owning end-to-end delivery within the dedicated Accounting Value Team. You lead complex designs, mentor others, and contribute to ongoing standardization and continuous improvement. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, enabling global clients to achieve accurate financial reporting and compliant accounting workflows.

- Own end-to-end solution build for accounting (GL, fund accounting, financial reporting) within SimCorp One
- Lead delivery as stream lead and coordinate with other Value Streams and Consulting units
- Analyze complex requirements and translate into scalable solutions
- Define and maintain accounting standards within SimCorp One with deep domain insight
- Support escalations and resolve high-complexity issues
- Ensure designs align with frameworks and long-term maintainability
- Identify gaps and contribute to improvement initiatives
- Mentor consultants and raise accounting expertise within the Value Stream
- Champion new ways of working as part of business transformation
- Practical working experience with SimCorp Dimension or similar platforms (e.g., Murex, CRD) with accounting modules
- Deep functional expertise in investment accounting (GL, NAV, financial reporting) and regulatory accounting (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP)
- Experience delivering complex end-to-end solutions and managing multiple deliveries
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain complex topics to technical and business audiences
