Overview
In this role you will operate and evolve SIX’s on‑prem IBM MQ Appliance platform while expanding our messaging portfolio into OpenShift and Microsoft Azure. You will build automation, self‑service capabilities and platform services, and design IBM MQ services for hybrid cloud. You’ll explore complementary messaging technologies and develop automation through APIs, CI/CD and infrastructure as code. You’ll join a hands‑on team tackling production issues and participate in on‑call rotations, shaping reliable enterprise messaging for the next era of finance.

- Build automation, self-service capabilities and platform services
- Design and implement IBM MQ services in OpenShift and Azure
- Evaluate complementary messaging technologies
- Develop automation using APIs, CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call rotation
- Enterprise messaging platform administration or engineering experience
- Production experience in OpenShift or public cloud environments
- Automation or software engineering skills in Java and Spring Boot
- Strong Linux, container, networking and security fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD, observability and incident management
- Knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform or cloud‑native messaging
