Senior Sales Engineer, Switzerland

In this role you own the technical relationship with Swiss enterprise and mid-market accounts, guiding discovery, demos, and validation to position Rubrik's Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation platform. You will tailor approaches across on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and AI-driven use cases, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes. You’ll build champions and collaborate with regional teams to drive deals through a full sales cycle. This is a chance to shape Rubrik’s technical leadership in a growing market and help customers secure complex data environments.

• Lead discovery, demos, and technical validation (POC or equivalent) largely independently across Switzerland
• Tailor pitches for on-prem, cloud, SaaS, identity, and AI-driven requirements to match customer environments
• Present to technical staff and senior leaders, articulating business outcomes beyond features
• Develop trusted-advisor relationships and champions through the evaluation and buying process
• Qualify opportunities against technical needs, competition, decision process, and funding
• Collaborate with account executives, partners, and regional team to marshal resources as needed
• Contribute a distinct technical speciality within a small Swiss SE team and leverage team depth

• Sales engineering experience in software, SaaS, or data center with independent discovery, demos, and validations
• Fluent in English; able to run a full technical sales cycle with customers
• Broad experience in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data resilience
• Comfort with high-volume pipeline and rapid follow-up after customer interactions
• Business acumen and experience presenting to CxO-level stakeholders
