Overview
As Senior Frontend Engineer at Smallpdf, you will shape user experiences for millions of users, owning work from idea to production. You’ll influence product direction through technical insight and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design and Data. You will build fast, reliable interfaces with modern technologies and run experiments to validate ideas. You’ll contribute to frontend standards and help sustain a healthy, scalable codebase while shaping future product and experimentation efforts.

- Deliver complex product features, experiments, or systems from discovery to rollout and analysis

- Create prototypes and experiments to validate assumptions and guide product decisions

- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data to align goals and outcomes

- Strong experience building modern web applications at scale
- Deep knowledge of React and TypeScript with pragmatic architecture
- Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and progress work confidently
- Comfortable making data-informed decisions and questioning problem scope
- Proactive in proposing alternatives and steering the team toward the right direction
- Passion for product and solving real user problems
- Willingness to work with Product, Design, and Data to shape outcomes
- Excellent communication in English and cross-functional collaboration
