Overview
In this role you join Accelleron’s high-speed turbocharger development team in Baden to own engineering development and lifecycle support for turbochargers. You’ll collaborate with supply, sales, service, and central R&D, while leading cross-divisional work packages and projects focused on technology, costs, and timelines. You will drive simulations, testing, and root-cause analyses to improve product reliability and performance. This is a hands-on, internationally oriented position with meaningful impact on the energy transition.

- Perform engineering calculations, including tolerance stack-ups and statistics, for static and rotating turbocharger components
- Initiate and analyze FEM/CFD simulations and tests across internal laboratories, external labs, and field sites
- Conduct root-cause analysis for field reliability incidents and develop countermeasures
- Advance the existing product range in collaboration with sales, service, and central R&D
- Drive continuous process improvement, maintain documentation, and manage knowledge
- Provide technical support to supply chain, sales, and service with up-to-date instructions and manuals
- Plan and manage product development/R&D projects, including cross-divisional coordination to meet tech, cost, and deadline targets
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Master (or similar)
- Proven knowledge of state-of-the-art development methods
- Strong engineering, project management and communication skills
