Senior Safety Process Director

In this global role, you lead and shape the safety processes that underpin Roche’s drug, device, and digital health safety activities. You will act as a senior expert or Global Process Owner, partnering with safety leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure robust, compliant safety programs. You drive process innovation and help scale safety practices across the portfolio, contributing to patient safety and regulatory excellence. This position offers strategic influence in a global, matrix environment with meaningful impact on medicines and digital health solutions.

• Design and govern global safety operating models translating complex safety requirements into scalable practices
• Serve as Global Process Owner or senior expert for complex safety and vigilance activities with strategic direction
• Collaborate with Safety Science Leaders, QPPV/PRRC offices, and cross-functional teams to harmonize safety initiatives
• Drive process innovation to strengthen Roche’s safety capabilities and participate in external collaborations
• Translate scientific and regulatory foundations of Signal Management and Risk Management into global safety practices
• Influence governance discussions to support safe development of medicines and digital health solutions

• Strategic leader with experience in a global matrix environment and deep Safety Science expertise
• Degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Extensive Pharmacovigilance and Safety Science experience with expertise in Signal Management and Risk Management
• Strong command of global pharmacovigilance and safety regulations (FDA, EMA, MHRA)
• Proven track record of leading complex initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
