Avaloq Developer Portfolio Management 80–100% (f/m/d)

In this role you actively shape the Avaloq landscape within Portfolio Management at a family-owned private bank with a long-term perspective. You work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure stable, forward-looking processes and applications that support sustainable client relationships. You translate business requirements into robust system solutions, design and test new functionalities, and maintain reliable operation of your applications. You coordinate releases with internal and external partners and contribute to standards and process improvements. This is a hands-on role that combines technical excellence with collaboration in a values-driven, agile environment.

• Manage and evolve Avaloq applications in the Portfolio Management domain
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into sustainable system solutions with Business Specialists and Business Analysts
• Design, implement, and test new functionalities and enhancements
• Ensure reliable and efficient operation of assigned applications and resolve incidents
• Plan, coordinate, and support releases with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Prepare technical and functional documentation and contribute to standards improvements
• Contribute to an interdisciplinary agile team and drive system landscape development
• Bring forward ideas for furthering the Avaloq system landscape

• Higher education in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or equivalent
• Solid Avaloq experience, ideally in Portfolio Management with knowledge of relevant components and interfaces
• Experience in application management, business analysis, or software development in banking/financial services
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle SQL with understanding of data, processes and end-to-end dependencies
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset across functions
• Excellent English; German is an advantage
• Preferred: release and test management experience; familiarity with agile methods and regulatory requirements in private banking
