Manager / Senior Manager - Cloud Architect

In this role you will lead a team to deliver cloud transformation projects for top clients, shaping end-to-end architectures and governance. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into strategic decisions. You will drive design, security, cost efficiency, and sustainability across multi-cloud landscapes, including AI/GenAI capabilities. This role offers a chance to contribute to PwC’s cloud practice growth and to influence how clients adopt modern cloud architectures.

• Lead and collaborate on high-impact cloud transformation projects with senior stakeholders
• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures focusing on scalability, security, resilience, and sustainability
• Define target operating models, cloud landing zones, and reference architectures
• Establish architecture governance and best practices across enterprise-wide cloud programmes
• Communicate complex architectural concepts to stakeholders to support decision-making
• Lead and contribute to business development activities, proposals, and thought leadership
• Apply and expand knowledge of cloud-native tech, architecture, engineering methods, and consulting strategies

• 5+ years in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or platform solutions
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise (Landing Zones, AKS, Networking, Entra ID, Azure OpenAI)
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud is a plus
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification; additional TOGAF, CKA, security or AI specialisations are a plus
• Degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field; consulting experience is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English; German is a plus
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally
