Accountant & VAT Specialist 80%-100% (m/w/d)

In this role you will oversee Swiss tax, accounting, and treasury activities for multiple entities, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting. You’ll collaborate with international finance teams and external advisors to drive quality and transformation, especially in digitalization and process optimization. You will shape tax planning, VAT handling, and statutory/IFRS reporting, while supporting liquidity management and financing processes. • Prepare and review Swiss corporate income tax declarations and tax accounting for all entities in scope
• Provide VAT support and coordinate foreign VAT registrations and compliance
• Support tax and financial audits with authorities, auditors, and external advisors
• Contribute to OR, Swiss GAAP FER statutory reporting, quarterly IFRS closings, and monthly group reporting
• Monitor balance sheet accounts, review entries, and investigate anomalies
• Support treasury activities including liquidity planning, cash management, intercompany financing and dividends
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centers and external stakeholders for outsourced accounting, tax and reporting
• Drive transformation, digitalization and process optimization (SAP standardization, data analytics, automation)

• Completed university degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance or Tax
• Several years of professional experience in finance or tax
• Strong knowledge of Swiss VAT law; good knowledge of corporate income tax and tax accounting
• Experience with statutory reporting under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
• Familiarity with Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS an advantage
• Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA a plus) and advanced Excel
• Affinity for digital solutions, automation and AI
