Overview
In this role you will lead Product Engineering for ABB Power Protection, ensuring hardware, assemblies, and processes align with ABB guidelines from development to life-cycle management. You will define validation processes to ensure product robustness and support production with technical expertise. The role combines collaboration with R&D, cross-functional teams, and on-site execution to industrialize solutions at scale. You will contribute to energy-efficient UPS technologies and lifecycle improvements that impact data centers and industrial sites.
Verantwortungsbereiche- Collaborate with R&D to identify optimal industrialization solutions for the product
- Review and validate technical deliverables (validation protocols, DFMEA) during development
- Review and validate technical solutions during life cycle management
- Provide technical support to Production
- Bachelor in Electronics
- Master's degree considered a plus
- DFMEA analysis expertise with product development experience in the UPS and power conversion domain
- 5+ years of experience in electronics/power electronics, especially frequency converter technologies
- Team player with strong cross-functional communication
