Overview
In this role, you drive optimization of technical processes for high-voltage transformer bushings within Hitachi Energy’s Insulation & Components division. You will lead cross-functional projects, analyze designs and manufacturing methods, and implement improvements to boost quality, efficiency, and cost performance. You help industrialize new technologies while maintaining structured, solution-oriented delivery. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape industrial solutions at a global leader in electrical insulation.

- Lead and coordinate internal projects focused on product and process optimization in the high-voltage bushings segment
- Analyze existing designs and manufacturing processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corresponding measures
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and other departments
- Prepare technical documentation, monitor progress, and regularly report to management
- Support the industrialization of new technologies and materials
- Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar) or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in managing technical development or improvement projects
- Solid mechanical knowledge, ideally in electrical insulators or high-voltage components
- Experience with Lean methods, Six Sigma, or similar improvement approaches is a plus
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and strong communication skills
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
