Overview
In this role you will shape ABB’s security architecture for software products targeting industrial systems. You will translate cutting-edge research into real-world industrial solutions within a collaborative, international team. You’ll lead and contribute to projects that drive secure, scalable software for critical infrastructure and publish or patent your results. This hybrid position centers on advancing security research with practical impact across ABB’s industrial software portfolio.

- Hands-on software engineering and system design experience
- Deep knowledge in OT security, computer security, distributed/embedded systems, secure communications, or applied cryptography
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Rust
- Proven publication track record at top-tier venues
- Ability to drive ideas from concept to prototype
