New Business Manager (m/f/d)

As a New Business Manager for PPG in Ecublens, you will drive new business growth in the automotive coatings segment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to develop territories, share product expertise, and introduce new solutions. You’ll combine on-site technical advice with strategic planning to meet targets and expand our market presence. This role offers a chance to shape customer success in a global leader focused on sustainability, innovation, and color.

• Regularly visit existing customers and acquire new clients
• Independently plan routes and customer visits
• Take strong personal responsibility for achieving targets and developing new business
• Gather market intelligence on trends and competitor activities
• Prepare materials for sales meetings (project lists)
• Present project lists internally
• Prepare budgets and business plans (territory-specific and according to guidelines)
• Manage the pipeline and customer activities
• Provide technical advice directly on-site at customer locations
• Coordinate technical service interventions with customers
• Introduce new products to customers

• Training as an industrial painter, automotive painter, or body repair technician
• Experience in selling products in the industrial coatings and commercial vehicle sector
• Ability to convince and inspire customers with PPG products
• Solid technical background
• Good knowledge of products and paint systems
• Technical expertise within the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
