Network Infrastructure / Security Engineer

Our client is a medium-sized IT company based in Switzerland, grouping over 100 employees and ensuring the design and evolution of critical environments for a network of multi-site partners. In the context of strengthening its Infrastructure department, we are looking for a Senior Network/Security Infrastructure Engineer.MISSION DESCRIPTIONWithin the network team, you contribute to the support, evolution, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and distributed multi-site infrastructures. Your responsibilities include:- Managing firewalls, NAC, and proxies- Network security and equipment filtering- High availability of infrastructures- Maintaining operational conditionsMain responsibilities:- Management and evolution of network security equipment (Firewalls, NAC, Proxy)- Evolution of LAN (wired & WiFi), WAN infrastructures and maintenance (incident management & advanced troubleshooting)- Network change management- Deployment of new security standards at remote sites- Continuous strengthening of network security- Contribution to on-call infrastructures (1 week out of 5)PROFILE- Engineer degree (HES/EPF) or equivalent experience- Minimum 7 years in network/security engineering- Proven experience in critical multi-site environmentsKey technical skills:- Advanced mastery of routing & switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MSTP, VTP, VxLAN- Cisco environments- Solid firewall expertise (clusters, zoning, L4/L7 filtering)- Good knowledge of Fortinet = mastery of Cisco ISE (NAC)- Microsoft & Linux environments- WiFi Aruba expertise (Python, Ansible, API)Skills:- Clear and structured thinking- Autonomy and solution-oriented- Methodical and rigorousLanguages:- French: Complete mastery (oral & written)- English: Professional levelConditions:- Activity rate: 100%- Start: As soon as possible- On-site presence required (telework policy up to 40% depending on on-call duties) jid74cd4fdaen jit0416aen jpiy26aen
