Deployed across several sites, EEG Technician or ASSC with EEG technique (M/F). Deployed across several sites, the Institution of Lavigny consists of a neurological hospital with two locations, two departments accommodating adults with disabilities, one with intellectual and the other with physical disabilities, a specialized school, and a hospital department. The Lavigny Institution is one of the reference centers in the Romandy region for brain injuries requiring neurological care or suffering from difficult epilepsy. In this context, the hospital department is expanding and developing while keeping alive the values that are dear to it: kindness, fairness, respect, and responsibility in a managerial approach. The care provided allows the establishment of expertise at all levels, whether for diagnostic purposes, treatment implementation, prevention, or further. The Lavigny hospital department, in the field of Electroencephalogram (EEG) examinations, is looking for a: EEG Technician at 40% (annualized rate) or ASSC with EEG technique at 80%. Your main mission as an EEG technician will be to take care of the patients and the people accompanying them, before, during, and after the examination to perform various electroencephalographic recordings (EEG). In other words: electrode placement and various polysomnography sensors; recording: monitoring, and interaction with the patient while ensuring impeccable technical progress; archiving and maintaining the specific tasks defined in collaboration with the unit supervisor. Schedules: late afternoon on Monday, late afternoon on Tuesday, full day during the colleague's vacation: 4 full days. Your primary missions as an ASSC are as follows: Provide, under the supervision of a nurse, medical-technical acts according to the list of authorized acts and institutional policy, in stable conditions that do not present an urgency. Be responsible for carrying out care related to the daily life activities of those in your charge, as well as achieving objectives in the care provision. Collaborate, through your activities, in establishing diagnoses, objectives, and care interventions. Actively participate, under the supervision of the nurse, in developing conditions to ensure safety as well as promote health for each of those entrusted to you. Ensure, according to hospital hygiene guidelines and the unit's directives, order, cleanliness, disinfection, and maintenance of the environment and furniture, as well as logistics activities inherent to the smooth functioning of the unit. We ask for: Degree X in neurophysiology diagnosis or equivalent title and/or clinical experience in the field or Assistant in Community Health and Care degree with clinical experience in the field (EEG) or interest in training. Strong communication skills and capacity to adapt to individuals with an intellectual disability or a keen interest in neurology and epilepsy, along with a willingness to train. An interest in quality care and management, and availability (fixed hours with an annualized rate). Ability to use autonomously X technology necessary for the position (electroencephalographic recordings EEG), with creativity and resourcefulness. Assertive ability to work independently under sometimes stressful conditions, with oral and written expression.
