Swiss Tax Partner

JCW Search AG are currently working together with a top international law firm searching for a Swiss Certified Tax Expert to join their partnership in Zürich.

Your role:

• Advise clients on a wide spectrum of Swiss and cross-border tax issues, including transaction structuring, M&A tax, and corporate reorganisations
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing commercially driven tax advice to senior management, boards, and private clients
• Play an active role in expanding the firm’s tax offering by identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, including obtaining advance tax rulings and handling audits or contentious matters
• Lead, guide, and support junior team members, fostering their professional development
• Work closely with colleagues across other practice areas to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary advice

Your profile:

• Significant experience (generally 10+ years) in Swiss and international tax law, gained within a reputable law firm or similar environment
• Swiss bar admission preferred but not necessary
• Swiss Certified Tax Expert completed
• Strong track record in client development; an existing client portfolio would be advantageous
• In-depth understanding of Swiss tax regimes (including corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax), with exposure to international tax principles
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent drafting and negotiation capabilities
