Sourcing - Professional Services & Marketing Consulting

Location: Zürich, CH

Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value‑add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner. We are seeking a procurement professional with a marketing and professional services procurement background to join our Marketing & Professional Services Sourcing team. The ideal candidate has a consulting mindset, a hands‑on marketing and professional services procurement industry experience, understands the dynamics of agency, consulting and supplier negotiations, and can confidently operate in a client‑facing and advisory‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end category strategy development, competitive tenders, and contract negotiation/execution.
  • Act as SME in Marketing & Professional Services procurement (Media, Creative, Production, Events, Sponsorships, Consulting).
  • Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies to drive client value and savings.
  • Manage RFP/RFI processes, supplier selection, and competitive bidding.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and performance metrics to achieve optimal commercial terms.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and spend data to identify value improvement opportunities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Mitigate supply, compliance, and market risks while supporting global and local sourcing initiatives

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Marketing and Professional Services Procurement.
  • Experience working in consulting, advisory, or client-facing procurement environments.
  • Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar sourcing projects.
  • Experience with marketing agency and consulting contracts, including drafting with minimal legal support.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret and optimize campaign performance data.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and consulting supplier landscapes.
  • Budget management expertise and ability to report on KPIs and success metrics.
  • Skilled in collaborating with marketing teams and media vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Professional, motivated team player with flexibility and focus on delivering results.
