As Global Head of ReleaseManagement in the Fire Safety Portfolio Unit, you will play apivotal leadership role in ensuring that our product and solutionportfolio is released predictably, reliably, and with the highestquality across regions and product lines. Operating at portfoliolevel, you will coordinate release planning and readiness, managecross‐product‐line dependencies, and ensure transparency andgovernance across global deliveries within Smart InfrastructureBuildings. As part of the Fire Safety Portfolio leadership team,you will work closely with the Head of Global Portfolio Strategy,Head of Global Architecture, and Head of Portfolio ExecutionManagement / Product Development. Your newresponsibilities: - Own portfolio-level release planning,readiness, and cross-region, cross-product-line delivery governance- Ensure release readiness across product lines with respect toquality, cybersecurity, sustainability, regulatory, anddocumentation requirements - Synchronize release scope, content,and timelines across product lines and regions - Govern lean‐agilerelease processes at portfolio level based on the Siemens agileframework to ensure strong development productivity - Identify,manage, and mitigate cross-product-line dependencies, risks, andimpediments impacting delivery commitments - Drive alignmentbetween Product Lines, Product Development, Quality, andArchitecture to enable predictable releases - Provide transparentreporting on release status, risks, readiness, and key performanceindicators to portfolio and business stakeholders - Coordinateportfolio-level go-live activities and ensure consistent executionof the overall release plan - Facilitate Release Readiness Reviews,Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go decisions - Lead andcoordinate the global Release Management community to ensureconsistent practices and synchronized execution across projects andregions Your skills and experience: - Master’s degree inengineering, computer science, or a related field - 10+ years ofexperience in release management, portfolio delivery, orlarge‐scale product lifecycle coordination within a globaltechnology environment - Experience in fire safety, buildingtechnologies, or related systems is a strong plus - Consistenttrack record in environments with high regulatory, compliance, andquality requirements - Solid understanding of product lifecycleprocesses, lean‐agile delivery models, and release governance;
goodgrasp of DevOps andsoftware delivery excellence - Certificationsin Agile (e.G. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) or Project Management are anadvantage - Validated leadership experience managing global teamsand aligning cross‐functional stakeholders - Strong ability tomanage cross‐regional and cross‐product dependencies at portfoliolevel - Proficiency with collaboration and lifecycle tools (e.G.Confluence, IBM JAZZ, Microsoft 365);
interest in AI technologiesis welcome - Analytical mindset with experience in KPI‐basedperformance monitoring and risk management - Full proficiency inEnglish communication skills.
