Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zurich for an Air and Ocean Export Operator. The role involves managing day-to-day export operations for air and ocean shipments, including processing bookings, preparing necessary documentation, and coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal departments. The position also requires tracking shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining excellent customer service. Additionally, the candidate will address any logistics challenges and ensure timely resolutions.
Qualifications
- Experience in air and ocean freight operations and logistics management
- Proficiency in preparing and handling export documentation, including customs clearance
- Strong abilities in customer service and communication, with a focus on building relationships
- Organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in logistics and freight management software
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance
- Adaptability, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive mindset
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Previous experience in freight forwarding is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
