For over 38 years, Phida Siffert has been a recognised player in waterproofing in French-speaking Switzerland. With around 90 employees, the company carries out waterproofing works on all types of roofs, mainly within the framework of new projects for general contractors, architectural offices and public tenders.
As part of its growth and to sustainably structure its commercial function, Phida Siffert is today creating a new Calculation division, historically managed by the executive team. This future department will eventually have 2 to 3 employees "” and you will be its first pillar.
You will thus join the company with a dual perspective:
In the short term, gradually take over the management of offer pricing in tandem with the executive team, which will ensure a complete transfer of know-how, the price base and the partner network;
In the medium term, actively participate in structuring the Calculation division: methods, tools, internal price base, performance indicators and cross-functional coordination. Progression to head of the division is possible depending on your development and commitment.
This is a key position, designed for someone wishing to invest long-term and grow with the company.
Your main responsibilities:
Calculation and offers
Prepare offers for new and refurbishment projects (all types of roofs) for general contractors, architectural offices and public tenders.
Analyse bids (CAN/NPK waterproofing, SIA files, CCT-SOR), read plans, identify technical and commercial variants.
Price on Baubit, in connection with our price base and partner suppliers.
Assess the technical and financial risks of each project, propose a pricing strategy.
Negotiation and commercial follow-up
Defend offers with buyers from general contractors and architects.
Negotiate contractual conditions, variants, price adjustments.
Monitor success rates and the division’s average margin, adjust strategy.
Structuring the division (as you gain autonomy)
Contribute to formalising our pricing methods, price base and templates.
Participate in the integration and training of future division employees, in liaison with management.
Facilitate coordination between calculation, technicians and management.
What you bring:
Basic training in finishing works, ideally complemented by higher education (federal certificate, ES technician, HES);
3 to 5 years’ experience in construction or building, including at least 2 years in calculation / quantity surveying / pricing;
Knowledge of waterproofing is a real asset;
Good command of a Swiss pricing software (Baubit, Messerli, Bauadmin or equivalent);
First negotiation experience with major general contractors (Implenia, HRS, Steiner, Marti, Losinger or equivalents) "” or direct exposure to such contacts;
Ability to defend an offer and adopt a professional commercial stance;
Fluent French, both spoken and written; German is a significant advantage;
Category B driving licence required.
