For our client based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Power BI Specialist (Finance & Accounting).

As part of an ongoing digitalisation initiative, our client is further expanding and consolidating its Microsoft environment, including the transformation of financial reporting processes through Power BI.

Your Tasks:
  • Gather and analyse business requirements from the Finance and Accounting teams
  • Translate financial reporting needs into scalable Power BI solutions
  • Design, develop and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Train and enable Finance and Accounting users to independently manage reports in Power BI
  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, Data Engineers and Project Managers
  • Ensure reporting solutions are user-friendly, efficient and aligned with business requirements
  • Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support related to Power BI reporting solutions

Your Profile:
  • 5-8+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI with strong experience within Finance and/or Accounting environments
  • Proven track record delivering Power BI reporting projects in Finance/Accounting
  • Background or good understanding in Data Science / Data Engineering
  • Strong Business Analysis skills with the ability to gather and structure requirements from non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting terminology and reporting processes
  • Experienced in coaching Business Users on PowerBI
  • Ability to independently design and implement technical Power BI solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Patient, solution-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel to Geneva
  • Fluent English skills are required; German and/or French are considered a plus
