Overview
In this role, you will define and optimize casting processes across global operations to boost productivity and quality. You’ll standardize practices, lead cross-functional improvements, and drive digital manufacturing initiatives. You’ll collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality, and production to implement new technologies and train teams. - Lead development and documentation of standardized casting processes, equipment, and work instructions across locations
- Analyze existing casting processes to identify bottlenecks using lean and Six Sigma methods
- Design and implement process/equipment improvements including automation and new technologies
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality, and production to ensure seamless integration of new processes
- Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing personnel on new processes/tools
- Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct process audits and assessments for compliance and continuous improvement
- Support digital manufacturing initiatives and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Manage complex projects with timely delivery and budget adherence
- Ensure compliance with external/internal regulations and guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
- Strong experience in casting process engineering or similar in a global manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of process improvements and operational excellence
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred)
- Experience with MES and ERP systems; proficiency in process mapping and value stream mapping
- Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel internationally; English fluent; other languages a plus
