Avaloq Release Manager / IT Operations Engineer

Overview
In this role you will manage the Avaloq release lifecycle to keep our banking IT services reliable and agile. You collaborate within IT Operations to plan, coordinate, and execute weekly, monthly, and hotfix releases across the Avaloq platform and related environments. You will ensure smooth deployments, monitor day-to-day processing, and drive continuous improvement in bank applications and processes. This position offers hands-on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape the efficiency of critical financial systems in a global, discretion-focused firm.

- Plan, coordinate and execute Avaloq Weekly Releases, Monthly Releases and Hot-Fixes
- Prepare, coordinate and operate Avaloq DEV, ST, UAT and Production environments
- Execute and monitor Avaloq BGP and End-of-Day processing
- Oversee Avaloq interfaces and connectivity to internal/external systems
- Coordinate and execute Avaloq platform deployments (including ICE and Smart Client)
- Administer OS across Windows, Linux and OpenShift
- Drive continuous improvement of bank applications and processes
- Collaborate with external infrastructure/service providers
- Proven Avaloq Release Management experience (planning, coordination, execution)
- Strong operational knowledge of Avaloq BGP and End-of-Day processing
- Experience in preparing/operating Avaloq DEV, ST, UAT and Production environments
- Knowledge of Avaloq interfaces, Anonymization and Avaloq scripting
- Solid knowledge of Linux, Oracle and PL/SQL
- Run the Bank knowledge to improve operational efficiency
