Head of Engineering & Operational Excellence (w/m/d)

You will lead Engineering, Facilities, Operational Excellence, and Project Engineering across multiple sites in a growing food manufacturing business. You’ll drive CI, Lean, and digitalisation initiatives to boost efficiency, quality, and scalability, while steering major Capex projects. You’ll partner with site leaders to establish technical standards and support long-term growth strategies, and you’ll build multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role offers a chance to shape cross-site engineering excellence and digital transformation in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Lead Engineering, Facilities, Operational Excellence, and Project Engineering functions across the business
• Drive Continuous Improvement, Lean, and digitalisation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability
• Lead and support major Capex projects, including site expansions, facility upgrades, and investments
• Partner with site leadership and senior stakeholders to establish technical standards and support long-term growth strategies
• Develop and lead multidisciplinary technical teams while ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient operating environment

• Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing (must be in the food industry)
• Strong background across engineering, maintenance, facilities, operational excellence, and project management
• Proven experience delivering organisational and process improvements through CI, Lean, and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience managing significant Capex investments, technical standards, and asset life cycle management
• Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership and excellent stakeholder management
• Fluent German language skills
