Overview
In this role, you will assess and design the target tax calculation architecture for a major financial services client, focusing on CGCalc and/or CGiX. You will evaluate current data flows, system design, and integration points to propose a practical migration or enhancement path. You will collaborate with tax, technology, and operations stakeholders to validate findings and produce clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. This opportunity lets you influence tax architecture at scale, balancing technical trade-offs and regulatory needs, while shaping the future state of the platform.
Verantwortungsbereiche- Perform an initial assessment of the current tax calculation architecture, data flows, and integration points
- Develop a proposal for the optimal target system architecture, comparing current setup with potential alternatives
- Collaborate with tax, technology, and operations stakeholders to validate findings and ensure commercially and technically sound recommendations
- Produce clear, audience-friendly documentation for both technical and business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with CGCalc and/or CGiX
- Strong understanding of investment tax principles, capital gains computation, and regulatory reporting in financial services
- Ability to assess legacy or complex systems and translate analysis into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with system migration or transformation initiatives in financial services is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Avaloq scripting (ALES) and related development tools is preferred
