Data Catalog Consultant

As Data Catalog Consultant you will drive data governance initiatives within Orange Business’ Data Strategy & Governance team in Geneva. You will shape the catalogue structure, metamodel documentation, and templates for business and IT users, enabling consistent data assets across the organization. You’ll plan and upgrade data catalog tools while organizing user training and validation campaigns. The role offers growth into broader governance activities such as data quality management or Master Data Management, depending on opportunity. You’ll work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment focused on delivering data excellence aligned with the company’s digital transformation mission.

• Gathering functional requirements aligned with the data strategy
• Defining catalogue structure and operating model, including roles and workflows
• Documenting catalogue metamodels
• Preparing templates for business and IT users (terms, data entities, attributes, rules)
• Planning and executing data catalog tool upgrades
• Organizing and supporting user training and testing campaigns
• Potential to expand into data quality management or Master Data Management
• Engaging in consulting activities as opportunities arise

• 3 to 5 years in Data Management
• 1 to 3 years leading data catalogues (Collibra, Data Galaxy, Purview or equivalent)
• Mandatory data catalog experience
• Strong interest in data governance
