Junior Forward Deployed Engineer - Artificial Intelligence

In this role, you join Sygnum's AI Hub to help build AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable impact across the bank. You collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to design and ship AI-powered agents for production use, touching client onboarding, servicing, and back-office workflows. You’ll work with foundational models like OpenAI and Anthropic Claude, exploring secure, governable AI in a regulated banking setting. This is a hands-on, business-facing engineering role with rapid prototyping and direct problem-solving impact.

• Design, build and ship AI-powered agents and tools for production use
• Develop productivity tooling and operational workflows

• Recent graduate or early-career engineer in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design)
• Solid programming skills in Python and/or Java
• Experience in LLM-based applications and agentic workflows
• Careful engineering mindset: clean code, testing, reliability, responsible data handling
• Interest in understanding business problems and translating needs into working solutions
