Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you design and implement low-voltage electrical systems for automated manufacturing, ensuring safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. You will work with cross-functional teams to support drive technology, VFDs, switchgear, UPS, and related systems, from feasibility through commissioning. The role emphasizes modernization and asset lifecycle management in regulated environments, with a focus on sustainability and continuous improvement. This position offers meaningful impact by shaping electrical infrastructure for high-performance plants within the life sciences manufacturing ecosystem.

• Design, specify, and implement low-voltage electrical systems for industrial settings
• Lead/support projects involving drive technology, VFDs, frequency converters, switchgear, UPS, heating systems, and pipe trace heating
• Develop concepts, specifications, electrical schematics, and design documentation for new installations and upgrades
• Provide technical expertise throughout project lifecycles from feasibility to handover
• Contribute to electrical infrastructure modernization and asset lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards (NIN, ATEX, VKF, electrical safety)
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement to boost reliability and efficiency
• Identify energy optimization measures to improve sustainability and reduce costs
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, automation, and project teams to deliver safe and innovative solutions

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering (BSc/MSc/HF) or equivalent certification (FA, Master Electrician, Electrical Project Manager)
• Experience designing, planning, and implementing electrical systems in industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, drive systems, switchgear, UPS, and industrial installations
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to commissioning and support
• Familiarity with regulated industries (pharma, biotech, chemicals, process manufacturing) is advantageous
• Proficiency in German and English
