Manager - Cloud, Data & AI - Data Management Specialist

As Manager in PwC’s Cloud, Data & AI team, you will lead transformative data initiatives that turn data into trusted, scalable assets driving smarter decisions. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape actionable roadmaps and measurable value through modern data and AI capabilities. You’ll manage governance, data management, and platform modernization efforts across client engagements, delivering high-impact outcomes. This role offers a chance to influence strategy, delivery, and client relationships in a globally focused consultancy.

• Lead engagements across data governance, data management, data quality, metadata, master data, data platform, and AI-readiness initiatives with clear ownership and strong execution
• Translate business priorities into practical data strategies and roadmaps linking platform capabilities to measurable value
• Design scalable governance frameworks with policies, controls, and adoption mechanisms embedding data accountability
• Shape requirements and operating models for cloud-based analytics, automation, and AI use cases in client modernisation efforts
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable data products from requirements through adoption
• Facilitate workshops and manage senior stakeholders to align business and technology perspectives
• Produce high-impact client deliverables such as maturity assessments, target operating models, roadmaps, governance playbooks, platform blueprints, and executive presentations
• Support business development by shaping propositions, proposals, and client relationship expansion
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen delivery quality and nurture next-generation data and AI consultants

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Significant consulting experience in international, client-facing environments with track record in data/tech/analytics/digital transformation projects
• Strong expertise in data governance and data management including quality, metadata, lineage, ownership, and operating model design
• Practical experience with enterprise data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure) and connecting business needs to cloud data architecture
• Experience leading workshops and engaging senior stakeholders to build pragmatic solutions
• Commercial mindset with proposal experience including sales opportunities, solution design, pricing, and client relationship development
• Recognised certifications in data, cloud, governance, or AI (e.g., DAMA CDMP, Microsoft DP-600/DP-700, Azure, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks) a plus
• Excellent English and German communication skills (spoken, written, visual)
