You will define and deploy purchasing strategies for product categories and manage supplier risk across markets. You’ll build strong supplier relationships and negotiate framework agreements to support company objectives. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to drive cost efficiency, quality, and lead-time performance. You will work in a dynamic family business with room for ideas, growth, and development in a European manufacturing setting.

- Define and deploy purchasing strategy for assigned product categories
- Analyze supplier markets, cost trends, and technology developments; maintain supplier risk mapping
- Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers meeting technical, commercial, quality, and logistics needs; build relationships
- Anticipate risks related to capacity, supplier dependency, raw materials, and geopolitics
- Negotiate and implement framework agreements and contracts; challenge price increases
- Ensure supplier commitments align with company objectives
- Monitor portfolio KPIs (costs, savings, quality, OTD, lead times, capacity, risks)
- Continuously improve purchasing and supply chain processes
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
- Solid technical understanding with purchasing qualifications
- >3 years experience in project purchasing or strategic procurement
- Fluent in English and/or French and/or German
- Excellent command of MS Office, SharePoint, and familiarity with Infor
- Strong team player with resilience, flexibility, reliability and autonomy
- Well organized; able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
