Overview As the Sales Training Program Manager withinthe Sales Excellence team, you will be responsible for designingand overseeing the implementation of a structured, global SalesEnablement Program. This program will equip the sales team with thenecessary skills, knowledge, and best practices to driveperformance. You will maintain and update a comprehensive salesplaybook, establish governance structures, and facilitate trainingand coaching frameworks to support regional sales teams in theirexecution. Additionally, you will engage with key stakeholders,including technical teams, to shape and optimize the trainingprogram. Key Responsibilities - Sales Enablement & TrainingProgram: Establish and coordinate a structured, global SalesEnablement and Training Program, including an onboarding programfor new hires, by utilizing Omya Sales Playbook. The programprovides a learning framework covering CRM and sales analyticstools, technical product knowledge, market insights, andnegotiation fundamentals, mainly organized in coordination withrelevant internal and external stakeholders and subject-matterexperts. This role is responsible for delivering Sales Playbooktraining and ensuring its consistent adoption across the salesorganization.
- Coaching & Leadership Development: Developcoaching programs to be leveraged by sales management to drivehigh-performing sales teams - Content Development & KnowledgeManagement: Develop and manage training content to support theSales Enablement & Training Program. Create structured learningmaterials, resources, and toolkits tailored to different levels ofsales proficiency. Implement knowledge management processes thatensure easy access to up-to-date, standardized, and relevantcontent across sales organization.
- Training Delivery &Engagement: Engage directly with sales teams to assess trainingneeds and also deliver targeted training sessions. Ensure trainingis conducted in an interactive and effective manner, adaptingdelivery methods based on audience needs.
- StakeholderCollaboration: Partner with all relevant stakeholders to shape andoptimize the sales training program. Act as a strategic partner byworking closely with sales leadership to understand local needs andcustomize programs accordingly. Influence and align keystakeholders to drive adoption and success of training initiatives.- Training Performance & Governance: Establish metrics and KPIsto measure the effectiveness of the sales training program. Drivean annual Sales Skills Assessment to evaluate trainings anddevelopment effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and refine trainingstrategies accordingly. Oversee program coverage and track trainingparticipation to ensure all relevant sales teams complete necessarytraining. Ensure consistency in sales training content andmethodologies while allowing for local adaptation where necessary.Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Sales & Marketing Management, Communication or a related field- 5 - 10 years of experience in a sales role as an individualcontributor or manager, preferably within B2B chemicals andminerals distribution environments, with a strong track record as asuccessful seller across diverse products and customer segments - 1- 2 years experience in designing, managing, and deliveringstructured sales training or enablement programs, including thedevelopment of high-quality content tailored to varying levels ofsales proficiency - Exceptional interpersonal skills, with theability to engage and influence diverse audiences in the salesorganization - Strong presentation and facilitation skills toeffectively deliver training in a clear, engaging, and impactfulmanner - Positive, resilient, and self-driven, with a provenability to build credibility and strong relationships with bothcustomers and sales teams - Excellent communication skills inEnglish, both verbal and written - Proficiency in German, French orSpanish is desirable, any other language is a plus - Strongunderstanding of sales performance KPIs, including pipelinemetrics, conversion rates, net sales, and profit margins -Knowledge of key sales methodologies, with practical experience inapplying them - Ability to design and deliver compellingpresentations in PowerPoint, and experience with Salesforce -Experience with e-learning content creation and facilitating salestraining sessions is a plus - Demonstrated expertise in managingcomplex, cross-functional programs - Willingness to traveloccasionally Contact Nicole Gebhard, HR Business Partner,
