Substitute Teacher Associate (Regular/Special Education)

Job Description

To assist Classroom Teachers/Principals in providing students with an excellent education.

Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with academic, behavioral, or medical needs.

Performance Responsibilities

• Provides students with individual assistance on schoolwork assigned by the instructor.
• Assists with supervision as needed.
• Instructs students in small groups as directed by teacher.
• Assists in the correction of assignments, tests, etc.
• Attends meetings as directed.
• Works cooperatively with teacher.
• Contributes to a culture of high expectation and excellence.
• Assists in maintaining a quality work environment.
• Follows directions/instructions and gets along with co-workers and supervisors.
• Attends work regularly and on time.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the teacher or principal.
