Rate & Hours

  • Rate: $18.05
  • Hours: On Call Position – 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the day.
  • Calendar: Varies
  • Notes: Opportunity to experience different Food Service roles (e.g., Assistant Server at an Elementary School, Kitchen Helper at a Secondary School) to find your best fit and the flexibility to work only the days you are available.
  • Must be available to substitute at least three times a month.

Food Service Rates (per hour)

  • Substitute: $18.05
  • Assistant Server and Kitchen Helper: $19.60
  • Lead Server and Cashier: $20.05

Responsibilities

  • Serving food to students
  • Washing dishes
  • General kitchen assistance

Required Education and Experience

  • Three months of related work experience

Licenses / Special Requirements

  • Pierce or King County Food Worker Card
  • Criminal justice fingerprint clearance (completed upon hire)
