Overview Of Role

Rothschild & Co requires a high‑quality, responsive IT service team for its busy professionals. The candidate will work as part of the IT Services Team, handling support, continuous improvement, and infrastructure projects that support traders, staff, and the broader workplace. The role demands a service‑oriented, technically strong, flexible, and collaborative individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Projects – Scope and deliver infrastructure projects such as building moves, network changes, and workplace enhancements, acting as technical challenger and internal coordinator.
  • Workplace – Collaborate with team members and service provider to resolve complex technical problems on workplace infrastructure.
  • Deputy for Package‑ and Application life‑cycle management – Deputize the lifecycle of standard software from requirement analyses, testing, licensing, maintenance to decommissioning.
  • HW management – Manage hardware stock and oversee the joiner/leaver process, moving hardware and peripherals.
  • Mobile device management – Oversee device, contract, billing, and application support.
  • Team tasks – Collaborate with teammates and deputize them; show flexibility to take over tasks when necessary.
  • On‑site support – Respond to client requests via phone, ticketing tool, email, and in‑person; troubleshoot technical issues and provide first‑line support.

Education & Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship or degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience, Skills & Competencies Required

  • Background as an IT supporter with a service delivery mentality focused on quality and excellence.
  • Flexible, willing to work on varied topics and to learn continuously.
  • Strong technical understanding of end‑user computing and IT infrastructure.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
  • Strong team player who establishes and maintains trust and confidence among peers.
  • Experience working with external service providers.
