About the Company
ANAVIA specializes in design, development, & manufacturing of vertical takeoff & lifting (VTOL) systems up to 500 kg. Offers unmanned helicopter systems for mission profiles such as surveillance & reconnaissance, inspection, mapping, and cargo.
Qualifications
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering or related field, with focus on flight dynamics, control, or vehicle simulation.
- Experience with flight simulation environments and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Flightlab).
- Strong understanding of flight mechanics, control theory, and stability analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Hands‑on experience with flight test data processing or autopilot integration is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Swiss or EU citizens only.
Key Tasks
- Develop and maintain 6‑DOF flight dynamics models for UAV rotorcraft.
- Support stability and control analysis across the full flight envelope.
- Contribute to control law development and autopilot tuning by supplying simulation models and flight dynamics insights.
- Analyze flight test data to validate simulation models and identify improvement areas.
- Define and assess aircraft stability margins, dynamic responses, and trim conditions.
- Collaborate with avionics, control systems, and systems engineering teams.
- Prepare and document technical reports, model assumptions, and analysis results.
- Participate in definition of flight test instrumentation and data analysis for model correlation.
