Postdoctoral Researcher in Marketing 100% (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Independently conduct and collaborate on research projects related to the sustainable transformation of markets, brands and society, with a strong focus on qualitative research (Consumer Culture Theory)
• Develop and advance an independent research agenda aligned with the team's thematic focus
• Publish research articles in leading international marketing journals (e.g., Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing)
• Contribute to the supervision of PhD students at the University of St. Gallen
• Support research‑related organizational and administrative tasks within the team

Your profile

• Completed doctoral degree in marketing from a renowned university
• Strong research track record or clear potential demonstrated through publications or papers in the publication process
• Strong interest in marketing, sustainability‑related topics, market transformation, and societal change
• Interest in academically rigorous and societally/managerially relevant research questions
• Expertise in qualitative research methods is required
• Excellent command of English; speaking German is a big plus
• High level of initiative, independence, and organizational skills
• An active professional social media profile is a big plus

Position Details

The position is limited to two years, with the potential for extension.
