Founding-level Engineer (Full-Stack)

We're looking for a founding‑level engineer who could become a prospective CTO of one of our upcoming ventures. You'll work directly with our team to turn ideas into working systems—fast. Your goal is to prove out concepts, build MVPs, and discover what actually works.
You'll own technical decisions from architecture to deployment. As our portfolio companies take shape, you'll have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and build the team around you.
Key Responsibilities
AI Orchestration: Design and implement complex software utilizing AI workflows.
Full‑Stack Execution: Ability to build and deploy software beyond a one‑off prototype stage.
Evaluation & Observability: Follow rigorous principles to improve your product and the underlying agent.
Product Strategy: Partner with founders to decide what not to build.
Who You Are
Product Mindset: You care more about solving the user's problem than using a specific "trendy" framework.
Full‑Stack Capability: You are comfortable jumping across the stack, though you likely have a "spike" in either frontend polish or backend architecture.
Self‑Starter: You thrive in the ambiguity of an early‑stage startup. You don’t wait for a 50‑page spec; you ask the right questions and start building.
Communication: You can explain technical trade‑offs to non‑technical team members clearly.
Zurich‑Ready: You are either based in Switzerland or willing to relocate but most importantly you hold a Swiss, EU, or EFTA citizenship (or a valid Swiss C‑Permit).
Your Technical Toolkit
EnzianLabs has a preference for Typescript/Node.js and Go.
AI Frameworks: Experience building LLM powered applications and all their merits.
Infrastructure: Experience with cloud infrastructure, serverless functions, streaming responses (SSE), and edge computing.
Portfolio: Required. A link to a live app, a GitHub repo, or a detailed breakdown of an AI product you helped bring to market.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: CHF 90,000 – CHF 120,000 (depending on experience and equity package).
