Junte-se à Roche, onde cada voz é importante.### A posiçãoWe seek a highly motivated Senior Scientist to lead biomarker development efforts in support of Roche’s pipeline in hematology. Experience in hematology, personalized healthcare approaches, and translational research is highly desirable. The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and leading the biomarker strategy as well as delivering and interpreting Biomarker data with an emphasis on pharmacodynamics, mechanism of action, and patient selection for a clinical program in Hemophilia A, as well as other Roche products.Responsibilities include translating preclinical hypotheses into clinical biomarker strategies, analyzing diverse biomarker data to derive scientific insights, validating these insights with experimental approaches and translating them into development/diagnostic opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-malignant and/or malignant hematology. Experience in hemostasis and familiarity with coagulation assays is desirable.Experience in biomarkers and drug or diagnostics development is beneficial. The successful candidate is expected to work seamlessly as part of a multifunctional team, have excellent oral and written communication skills, participate and contribute to team meetings, publish in high quality scientific, technical or medical journals, present at internal and external meetings.### The OpportunityThe Senior Scientist will be part of the Hematology Franchise within the Translational Medicine function of Genentech Research and Early Development (gRED). The individual will be responsible for the oversight of biomarker programs of clinical studies of one or more molecules.### Primary responsibilities are as follows:* Correlate biomarker data with efficacy and safety measures to derive insights that inform drug development, research/laboratory projects, and/or diagnostic opportunities.* Responsible for translating preclinical hypotheses into clinical biomarker strategies for one or more projects.* Develop deep scientific expertise of the subject and disease to champion the translation of novel scientific discoveries into clinical development opportunities or diagnostic platforms.* Leading a cross-functional team that will be responsible for generating and analyzing biomarker data derived from clinical trial samples* Participate and thrive in an interactive, team-oriented culture* Provide exceptional scientific leadership to peers and assigned project teams (including clinical scientists, bioinformatics scientists, and discovery/preclinical scientists)* Contribute to preparation of relevant regulatory documents* Regular publication of scientific results and methods are strongly encouraged, and scientists are expected to develop over time into externally recognized leaders in translational sciences who influence the field of personalized healthcare in hematology### Who you are:### The ideal candidate will meet many of the following requirements:* A PhD, MD or MD/PhD in a specialized field (Hematology, Immunology, or Molecular Biology) with a high-impact publication record is required.* A minimum of 3–5 years of post-doctoral experience bridging the gap between bench science and clinical outcomes is required.* Experience in non-malignant hematology is preferred.* Proficiency in navigating high-content datasets and technical mastery of coagulation assays and biomarker associations with clinical outcomes are preferred.* Technical mastery of coagulation assays is preferred.* Ability to distill complex biological data into clear solutions and present them effectively to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.* Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, dynamic environments in either early or late-stage drug development is preferred.* Outstanding presentation and communication skills are required.### ### Quem nós somosUm futuro mais saudável nos leva a inovar.
